Stewardship
The Estate
The family administers the Estate’s interests and responds to requests concerning reproduction and reuse of Charles Tunnicliffe’s work.
Our role
The Estate is the family’s point of contact for many copyright and licensing enquiries. Each request is considered individually because the relevant rights can depend on the particular work, image, edition, historic agreement and proposed use.
The Estate does not seek to replace the important work of collections, galleries or specialist organisations. It aims to complement them by providing a careful route for permissions and family enquiries.
Collections and scholarship
Oriel Môn holds the artist’s studio collection and presents his work in a dedicated gallery. The Charles Tunnicliffe Society supports appreciation and study of his life and work. Museums, galleries, publishers and researchers each hold valuable knowledge and material.
Links and formal relationship descriptions will be confirmed with those organisations before public launch.
